Library Company minutes, volume 2 and 3, 1768-1794.

To promote the science of physiology and the exchange of ideas, the first congress of the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) was held in Basle, Switzerland, in 1889, and congresses have been held every three years since. The Union was incorporated at Washington, D.C., in 1953. The bulk of the Records of the IUPS relate to the International Congresses. Although representation is uneven, with a gap between 1907-1920, the records include programs, lists of members, abstracts of communications, and photographs, with more substantial documentation for meetings held in the United States. The collection also includes some general correspondence, minutes of meetings, reports of the Secretary, Executive Committee and Council correspondence, records relating to budgets, record books, and photographs.

Contains lists of members from 1862 to 1880, the printed constitution of the Society, and newspaper accounts of deceased members. Beginning with 28 February 1874, the minutes are reports of meetings clipped from newspapers, with manuscript additions.

This copy of the minutes begins with the founding of the Society in Edinburgh, and details its purpose and activities.

These minutes pertain to actions taken by the Royal Society, and include lists of members present at council meetings.

The Minutes and Correspondence of the Academy of Natural Science of Philadelphia, 1812-1894, include documents relating to the founding of the institution. Featured material found within the 38 reels: initiatory statements from the founders about ideas regarding the organization and policies as well as reports of curators, treasurers, secretaries, librarians, and various special committees.

This volume records the proceedings, from 18 June 1859 to 7 June 1862, of this York County (Pa.) Society. There are minutes of the meetings of the organization, formed to promote clear thinking and intelligent discussion on a wide range of topics which are noted for each session, with affirmative and negative arguments. There are lists of members and officers, and the constitution is set forth.

These papers consist of volumes 1-3, and are chiefly correspondence to Thomas, council minutes, and a report of prices for printing work in Philadelphia.

Transcription prepared by Edward I. George, under the direction of Rev. Gaius Jackson Slosser, as a senior thesis for a Bachelor of Sacred Theology, Western Theological Seminary. Records of Board meetings, October 1804 to July 1825, pertaining to missions in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, primarily to Indians. Records of reading of journals, approval of awards of funds, handling of defectors, etc.

The minutes cover 1749-1776, 1786-1833, and Treasurer's accounts, 1759-1843.
